Bhutan, a landlocked country and the last Shangri-La that shines between two giant countries of the world. The country enjoys peace and harmony under the dynamic leadership of Wangchuck Dynasty. Enjoying life under the dynamic dharma king, let everyone take part to celebrate 114th National Day on the theme ‘Bhutan First’. Seeing the nation enjoying celebrating the happiest moment of my life, I will never forget the day. This will remain forever in my heart throughout my life.

 

“The first step to success is, knowing your priorities.” Anonymous. Each and every head of the universe must know their first priority of life. Similarly, being a citizen of a country like Bhutan we must first think about the country for every second of our life as it’s our home. To choose our first priority our thinking matters. The citizens of the Thunder Dragon (Drukyul) must be far-fetched in thinking capacity.

 

The landlocked country of the world is also rich in production of agriculture products which is pure organic by nature itself. I survive in my nation, self-sufficiently for the pride. During the pandemic period, Bhutan is able to produce the agricultural products within the country which achieves the goal of self-reliance in life.

 

“Ability is nothing without opportunity” Anonymous. We must grab the opportunities that demand our characters, behaviour and other things. We need to always grab the opportunity to deliver the speech in front of the people whose attentions are at us. We must be much ahead than other nations. You, we and I together can do the best and change the world because, as a Bhutanese we are the best, and no one is special like we Bhutanese people.

 

We can compete with the global citizens; we have an emotional strength because we love our country. One day my country flag will be on the top of the globe. All Bhutanese citizens must know that we are at the first and fast.

 

Our Bhutanese constitution is the gift gifted from the throne. Bhutanese constitution was developed from fifty different countries by researching. Even though, the constitution of Bhutan was one of the best constitutions in the world. Bhutan runs smoothly through the path of constitution. 

 

Bhutan’s dynamic leader, the fourth Druk Gyalpo King Jigme Singye Wangchuck had sacrificed his life for the small nation and his precious family. He led the military mission to fight against ULFA base. This was the history made in the world that the leader of the country leading the military mission. 

 

Bhutan had been one of the top countries for conserving of its environment. The total of sixty percent of the country should be under the coverage of forest at all times to come. For this, Bhutan is recognised for maintaining carbon negative by the world. So much of our happiness depends on how we choose to look at the world. Bhutanese enjoys the happiness without choosing the world to look. We the citizens of Bhutan enjoy the happiness through the philosophy propounded by the great fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, which spread its ray to the world.

 

The Covid-19 pandemic had greatly affected the life of people around the world. But Bhutan being small country had shown its best to combat the pandemic. Bhutan did it. Bhutan is one of the countries who had been able to combat the virus than the most of the developed countries of the world. Under the dynamic leadership, Bhutan enjoyed the peace and prosperity as same as before even during the time of pandemic.

 

During the epidemic period, our fifth king had done a great job that can be marked in the history of the world. When the virus is vibrant in the world, Bhutan is to have a happiest moment as our second Gyalsey was about to see the beautiful world but our king had sacrificed his precious hour to safeguard the country from getting affected by the virus.

 

I as the student, a youth, and the leader of tomorrow should be ready to be the best person from the world to be the top at all times in everything. As being a youth, the future leadership of the country, my admirers has always been - “Nationally rooted, globally competent” the quote bloomed from the heart of our dynamic fifth king which embeds thousands of meanings. The quote always came first in my mind at any times. 

 

We Bhutanese people hate racing with the global citizens, even if we don’t race, we will be at the top of the globe. We have faith and respect to our enemies. This is where we win and always be the victorious at all times. And as a result, the flag of Bhutanese will be always on the top. This had been my mother land; I was born here with the glorious blessings of Triple Gem. I have only one desire and wish, if I could turn back the clock, my enjoyment and the happiness that I had enjoyed in my country. I will be very grateful if I could reflect my hopes in the mirror. We are poor but rich in heart; we love the nation and the world. That’s why we stand on the top.

 

Bhutan will be always in the top of the rank where the people of Bhutan work with the same thought, mind and speech where the Bhutanese people will be one step ahead from other developed countries. We must make the future of Bhutan. The people of Bhutan are far-fetched in thinking as compared from others, well equipped in everything that we want to perform, walks smoothly on the path of constitution, good environmental conservation at all times (60% coverage of forest) and the carbon negative country in the world. Bhutan strives for sustainable development through the philosophy of Gross National Happiness. “We have been; we must, we will” (Anonymous).
